ED510 Journey - Wrapping Things Up

Weekly Reflection – Wrapping Things Up

This week has really been about trying to wrap everything up and finish strong. I completed my Digital Citizenship project last week (due on the 5th), so my focus since then has shifted toward final projects, refining my webpage, and coordinating with my group.

To be honest, this week has been a little frustrating. We have a group project for this class, and we originally planned to meet about a week and a half ago. Unfortunately, I ended up in the hospital and had to notify my team. Since then, communication has been inconsistent—one team member shared their portion, another agreed to meet but didn’t follow through, and overall progress has been minimal. I’ve attempted to schedule two additional meetings since then, but we haven’t been able to connect as a full group.

I want to be clear—this isn’t about placing blame. Life happens, and I completely understand that everyone has responsibilities and challenges, just like I did being sick. That said, I can definitely feel the pressure with the project due next week. I tend to be someone who prefers to complete work early, then revisit and refine it, so working this close to the deadline is a bit uncomfortable for me.

On a positive note, I’ve also been working on improving my webpage—cleaning it up, organizing content, and making sure it presents well. My goal is to have that completed in the next couple of days so it’s in good shape for grading.

Overall, this week has been a mix of progress, pressure, and persistence—just trying to stay focused and get everything across the finish line.
